Role Description The General Manager Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring service excellence across the organization. This role manages operational teams, coordinates schedules and workflows, and ensures that performance targets, service-level agreements, and safety standards are consistently met. The General Manager Operations will develop and implement operational policies, optimize processes, monitor KPIs, and manage budgets to support efficiency and profitability. They will also lead and mentor team members, handle escalated customer service issues, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and support strategic projects that drive growth and continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on leadership, regular presence at operational sites, and active engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong General Management skills, including leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning.
- Proven Operations Management experience, with a focus on process optimization, KPI tracking, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Customer Service expertise, including handling escalations, improving customer experience, and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
- Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
- Budgeting skills, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting to support operational and strategic goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using data and metrics for operational decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, mobility, or a related operational environment is preferred.
