Job Title: Data Scientist

Our client is looking for a curious and impact‑driven Data Scientist to help identify, evaluate, and communicate risks associated with advanced machine learning and AI models. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of data science, engineering, and product, helping shape how models are validated, governed, and trusted across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with cross‑functional teams—including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers—to identify and quantify model risk
- Leverage a modern technology stack (open‑source ML frameworks, orchestration tools, vector databases, and model monitoring platforms) to extract insights from large, multi‑modal datasets
- Build and test machine learning models to benchmark and challenge models currently running in production
- Contribute to evolving model validation and governance frameworks for next‑generation AI solutions
- Validate models across multiple business domains and clearly communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences
- Present model risk assessments and potential business impacts to senior leaders and executives

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field plus 2+ years of data analytics experience, OR
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred
- Master’s or PhD in a STEM discipline
- Experience with cloud platforms
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in machine learning and large‑scale data analysis
