Seeking a full-time Township Manager for a Pennsylvania Second Class Township. Salary range is commensurate with experience and qualifications. A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, political science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred) w/ a minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible municipal management experience preferred; collective bargaining experience a plus. The Township Manager serves as the chief administrative officer of the Township, appointed by and reporting directly to the Board of Supervisors. The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Township, implementation of Board policies, oversight of departments and staff, budget administration, and strategic planning initiatives. Must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively with elected officials, staff, and the public. Must also have proficiency in financial management, municipal budgeting, municipal operations, personnel management and grant writing and administration.
