E-Commerce Manager

Sherpani · Boulder, CO | Full-Time Total Compensation: Up to $85,000 (base + performance bonus, scaled to experience)

At Sherpani, we design bags for story-worthy travel—smart, functional, and built to go anywhere. We're looking for an E-Commerce Manager who owns the full picture: a builder and operator who takes direct responsibility for D2C revenue performance across every channel that drives it—SEO, paid media, and email.

This isn't a coordination role. You are the engine.

The Role

You'll own the strategy and execution behind how Sherpani grows online. That means full accountability for organic search visibility, paid acquisition, email performance, and the on-site experience that converts visitors into customers. You'll work closely with creative, marketing, and agency partners—but you set the direction, diagnose what's working, fix what isn't, and relentlessly pursue growth across the entire digital funnel.

What You Own

SEO — end to end: technical health, content strategy, on-page optimization, link authority, and organic traffic growth. This is a primary KPI for this role.
Paid Media: strategy, budget pacing, and performance accountability across Google and Meta—whether managed in-house or through agency partners you direct.
Email & SMS: full lifecycle management—flows, campaigns, segmentation, A/B testing, and revenue attribution.
Site Experience & Conversion: homepage through checkout—UX, merchandising, landing pages, and ongoing CRO testing.
D2C Growth Roadmap: you build it, you own the results.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

Drive organic growth through a disciplined SEO program—audits, keyword strategy, content briefs, and technical fixes
Manage paid media performance: creative testing, audience targeting, ROAS optimization, and budget efficiency
Build and optimize email flows and campaigns that generate consistent, measurable revenue
Run structured A/B tests across landing pages, product pages, and checkout to improve conversion
Use analytics to guide decisions on product focus, site layout, and customer acquisition strategy
Ensure a seamless path from search or ad → landing page → product → checkout
Partner with creative to translate performance insights into effective design direction

What You Bring

3+ years of hands-on e-commerce or D2C growth experience at a product-based brand
Demonstrated SEO results—you've grown organic traffic and can explain exactly why it moved
Proficiency in paid media (Google Ads, Meta) with real performance accountability
Email marketing expertise: Klaviyo or equivalent, flows, segmentation, and revenue tracking
Strong Shopify knowledge and understanding of online merchandising
Experience managing or directing agency partners across multiple channels
Analytical and execution-focused—comfortable in the data and comfortable shipping
