Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Operations Manager located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency and excellence in store operations. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, training employees, improving workflow processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall performance of the store. Collaboration with the Operations Manager and other department heads to achieve business goals is an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Operations Management, Workflow Optimization, and Process Improvement
Strong Leadership, Team Management, and Employee Training skills
Exceptional Communication, Interpersonal, and Problem-Solving abilities
Understanding of Inventory Management and Supply Chain principles
Proven organizational and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and multicultural retail setting
Prior experience in retail operations or grocery store management is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is a plus
Familiarity with diverse cultural products and cuisines is highly advantageous
