Manufacturing Manager

Our client, a nationally recognized cannabis operator with facilities and operations across multiple markets, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager for one of their New York production facilities. This role will oversee daily manufacturing operations, production efficiency, compliance, quality standards, and team performance within a fast-paced cannabis environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong cannabis manufacturing experience, proven leadership ability, and experience managing production teams in high-volume operations.

**Location: Upstate New York**

Responsibilities

Oversee daily cannabis manufacturing and production operations
Lead and manage production teams, supervisors, and staff
Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and KPI targets are consistently met
Monitor workflow, inventory, equipment, and overall operational efficiency
Maintain compliance with cannabis regulations, SOPs, and safety standards
Partner with leadership to resolve production, staffing, and scheduling issues
Track production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support hiring, training, scheduling, and employee performance management

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
2+ years of cannabis manufacturing/production experience REQUIRED
Strong understanding of cannabis compliance and production operations
Experience managing teams in high-volume environments
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with KPI tracking, production reporting, and operational oversight preferred
