Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the DFW Metroplex. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring high levels of service delivery, and managing team schedules and performance. Responsibilities include coordinating service appointments, monitoring operational efficiency, maintaining customer satisfaction, and implementing process improvements to drive business success. Collaboration with the management team to address challenges, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies is also essential.

Qualifications

Operational and managerial experience, including team leadership, workflow management, and process optimization
Strong customer service and communication skills for maintaining client relationships and resolving issues effectively
Ability to manage scheduling, logistics, and service delivery for a mobile workforce
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in tools or software related to scheduling, tracking, or customer management (e.g., CRM systems)
Ability to work collaboratively and foster team development
Previous experience in home services or maintenance industries is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field is desirable but not required

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in plumbing, HVAC, appliance service, restoration, or another trades-adjacent field service business
Experience scaling a service business from owner-operator into a multi-technician operation
Experience with multifamily property management groups, single-family rental operators, or HOA-managed portfolios
P&L exposure or budget responsibility in a prior role

Physical Requirements

Primarily office-based with regular field presence
Ability to ride along with technicians, including time in attics, mechanical rooms, and on roofs during quality audits
Lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
Reliable transportation for site visits across the DFW metroplex

Compensation & Benefits

$130,000 annual base salary
