At Alexis Moran Furniture + Design, a small yet dedicated studio in Oakland, we focus on crafting bespoke furniture and cabinetry. We’re searching for a CAD Designer who is not just skilled but also values precision and clarity in their work.

Requirements

Minimum of five years CAD experience, which can include both education and professional work.
Proficiency in Vectorworks or similar CAD software, with a strong emphasis on producing 2D drawings.
A background in architecture or interior design that informs your design decisions.
Exceptional attention to detail; your drawings should reflect a meticulous approach.
Ability to operate independently, managing your time and tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying updates and receiving feedback.

Benefits

Hourly pay ranging from $40 to $75, commensurate with experience.
Flexible hours between 5 to 10 hours per week, with the option to increase as your workload allows.
Remote work is supported, but local candidates in Oakland are encouraged to collaborate with us in the studio occasionally.
