We are partnering with a growing plastics manufacturer in the Greater Warren, OH area that is looking for a Production Manager to lead production operations while driving safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the facility.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production management or operations leadership role (Required)
- Injection molding experience preferred. Candidates from other manufacturing environments with strong leadership experience will also be considered.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors while building a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Experience improving KPIs such as OEE, labor efficiency, scrap, productivity, and OTD
- Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and production problem solving
- Hands on leadership style with the ability to build relationships on the production floor and develop production teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision making skills in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Experience leading change and improving operational performance preferred
