Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Distribution Center Manager, located in Newport, AR. The Distribution Center Manager will oversee daily operations within the distribution center, including inventory management, staff supervision, and logistics coordination. The role involves ensuring efficient order fulfillment, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing processes for timely deliveries. The Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to meet business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Team Management skills, with experience in supervising staff and managing team performance
- Expertise in Inventory Management and Supply Chain operations
- Strong Logistics Coordination and Warehouse Operations experience
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in distribution center or warehouse management is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of the outdoor equipment industry is a plus
