Role Description

The Operations/Production Manager at Discoveries, Inc. will oversee daily production workflows, manage inventory logistics, and ensure the timely fulfillment of orders. The role includes coordinating with suppliers, monitoring quality control, and optimizing operational efficiency. The manager is also tasked with streamlining processes and supporting team members to meet performance goals. This is a full time role, where work is primarily based in Longmont, CO, but with opportunities to work from home.

Qualifications

Experience in operations management, production coordination, and logistics
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain systems
Excellent communication, team leadership, and collaboration abilities
Problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Support daily operations wherever needed in a flexible and collaborative small business setting
Perform light to medium lifting (up to 40 lbs)
Communicate with team members located around the world
Handle challenges with a sense of humor
Experience in retail, wholesale, or museum-related industries is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred

Software Experience:

Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with QBO
Some experience with ShipStation, Seller Central, Shopify, Finale, A2X or similar systems

Full Time

$60K/yr

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Salaried position with 2 weeks PTO & medical benefits
