Regional Sales Manager – Fastening Division (Jackson, TN)
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading sales growth and customer engagement across a defined territory within Martin’s Fastening Division. This role manages an established regional book of business while actively hunting and developing new opportunities to expand market share. The ideal candidate combines strategic account management with a proactive business development mindset, ensuring that every customer relationship reaches its full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of regional customers, maintaining strong relationships and consistent communication.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries and accounts to drive profitable growth.
- Maximize revenue potential within existing accounts by uncovering additional applications, product lines, and value-add service opportunities.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with division goals and company strategy.
- Partner with internal teams—including sourcing, operations, and customer service—to ensure seamless delivery, pricing strategy, and account performance.
- Track performance metrics, forecast sales results, and report regularly on pipeline activity.
- Represent Martin Fastening Solutions with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to customer success.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial B2B sales experience; fastener or MRO distribution background preferred.
- Proven track record of managing regional accounts and generating new business.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on selling.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
