Sumerra is currently seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated compliance professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within the social compliance consulting industry and collaborate with a variety of supplier sectors, including apparel and footwear, electronics, and other industries. Position is full time, however we are open to part time as well.
At this time, we have several specific needs within our organization. However, because the background and experience we are seeking is highly specialized, we have found it more effective to focus first on the core qualifications and then discuss which role and responsibilities may be the best fit after connecting. We recognize this is not a typical job posting, but we value finding the right long-term fit for both the candidate and our team
*** DOES THE BELOW DESCRIPTION SOUND LIKE YOU? WE’D LOVE TO CONNECT! PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] AND DESCRIBE YOUR BACKGROUND. ***

- Strong ability to make thoughtful, risk-based decisions
- Adept with systems and databases (online programs, Excel, task management software, data analytics, etc.).
- Experience with audit report quality assurance, implementation of corrective actions, root cause analysis and remediation to drive management system improvements.
